1. Charli XCX - Break The Rules
This song is exactly how many people feel (including myself) going back to school this year.
2. Blonde - I Loved You
This song is just so good, full of great beats, powerful vocals and is an overall great piece to dance to.
3. Kieza - Hideaway
Now, you've probably heard this song if you stay up to date with music in the world of artist like Diplo and Skrillex. This is the song that pretty much put Kiesza on the map, and that's great, because she's great.
4. Wildcat! Wildcat! - Garden Grays
This song just immediately transfers me to a happier place. It gives me a vibe similar to what Jagwar Ma gives me, which is pretty amazing. Plus Wildcat! Wildcat! is a super cool name and kind of fun to yell.
5. Midnight Pool Party - If you Were Mine (Mine)
A simply great song to dance to, with its disco-esque sounds making it just fun to listen to.6. JAPANESE WALLPAPER - Between Friends (ft. Jesse Davidson)
This song is a beautifully soft and relaxing piece of music with calm vocals that put me in a good mood.
7. NickHakim- Lift Me Up
This lo-fi piece of music is just the begining for NickHakim. With his acoustic, live sounding recordings he makes it sound amazing. Most attempts at creating music sounding like this seems like it would come together fairly rough, but he makes it work in the best way.
8. Kill Them With Colour - Always Somthin
This song is a hard hitting piece. With it's big beats and layers of them it makes it something I couldn't resist sharing.
9. Kwabs - Walk
Kwabs is a newcomer, but he is hitting it hard. Recently getting recognition by Microsoft and Nokia playing a Lumia Live session in Manchester England (I won tickets, couldn't go. Not too happy about that). There is no doubt in my mind that he will be making it huge very soon (at least in the UK, give it a year for the US).
10 - Stars - From The Night
Now, if you like Nu-disco music as much as I do, you'll see why I love this slower, more tame song that still contains much of the disco/dance vibe that I yearn for.
11. Saint Pepsi - Fiona Coyne
If you weren't convinced that I enjoy Nu-disco, heres another great tune from Saint Pepsi, a great band.
12. Solidisco - Work Your Body
Now that you know how much I love disco, here's another song to blast. Hint: it's disco.
13. Tobok ft. Emil Hero - Higher
Tobok is becoming something big, and with the help of Emil Hero (lead singer of Urban Cone) he is making headway into a great career.14. TV On The Radio - Happy Idiot
Well, heres the thing, this song came out yesterday (Sept. 2nd) but I've loved TV On The Radio for a long time and could not resist sharing this new single coming off of their upcoming album "Seeds".
15. Giraffage - Be With You
I've been a fan of Giraffage since his first album and will never be able to get enough.
